I’m sure by now, you’ve seen some of my recent doodles, right? If you kept an eye on my Flickr feed, (at the right hand side) you’ve seen my recent doodles. In my free time here lately I’ve started drawing again for fun. It’s really has helped me keep busy and stay positive through this rough time.
I’ve been doing well as one can except, since just getting over a tragic car accident and trying to deal with losing my parents. Today marks 2 months since the accident and my parents passing. It’s been a tough day today, but I’ve managed to keep a positive attitude. Yea, I’ve been a little depressed today,(who would not be) but I’ve been keeping today by drawing, working, talking to and e-mailing friends & family.
Other than dealing with today, I can finally say I’m getting my life back in order, getting better and trying to get back to work full time designing. I actually miss designing and I do think it has helped me with all that has happen. It’s been keeping me busy, but also gives me an outlet to be creative and have fun for a change.
In a weird way this experience has cleared this creative block that I’ve had for a while now. I’m able to live, eat, sleep and even dream about designing again. I know it sounds weird, but that’s me in a nutshell… designing ( web, digital drawing, print, id/brands) is my passion…..and is something I love to do… I’m just hoping this creative surge of energy will help me land more fun projects or a full time-contract or freelance job of my dreams.
Gotta look to the future and stay positive, plus have fun as well.
