A Long Weekend!

This weekend is a long one for me, since it’s also a Holiday weekend. I started my weekend off by going to see Pirates of the Carribean on Thursday. Actually we were planning to go see a couple bands that were going to be at Speed Street in Charlotte, but decided against that since finding parking was nearly impossible. Friday was spent getting the storage building organized and cleaned up. Today were going to the camper to spend the day with family and friends. Tomorrow we’re staying at home to do some stuff around the house ( i.e. clean, gaming, and resting). then on Monday we’re going to a cookout with my family and friends. So that wraps up about all I’m doing on my long weekend off. To beat it all I’m not even doing any design work or staying much at the computer this weekend.

Software Trials and Weekend wanderings

Adobe recently released its products for a trial download for both the Mac and PC. Most that are out now are programs like Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc. Most trial versions of its production software will be out later this month, and you will be able to register them once they expire for full use. You can also have Adobe ship you any of the packages, but it will cost you around $10.00, which is great if you buy the software as download only.

Other than trying out CS3 and working, I’ve also been gaming lots with my new Wii and going to different places each weekend. This weekend I’m headed to a concert and to see Spider-Man 3 at an Imax theater, which will be interesting since this is the first movie that I’m seeing in Imax.
