As everyone in the tech community now knows, Microsoft has offered to buy the search engine company Yahoo for $44.6bn in cash and shares. How would this effect the tech market with only having two big Companies like Microsoft/Yahoo and Google. How will it effect some of Yahoo best services like flickr, upcoming, del.icio.us, etc. We’ll have to wait and see…. but I think it’s a bad move if Yahoo accepts, since Microsoft does have a bad rap for trying to Monopolize and take over the tech industry.
Some will noticed I just updated the blog design. I decide to finally design a new template all from scratch this time using only XHTML and CSS. Plus it’s also valid strict XHTML/CSS too.
AOL finally decided to start using a XMPP, which Google Talk has been using for a while now. ICQ and AIM services are now compatible with XMPP, but still in the beta stages. Check out the Wiki Page to learn more about this new and exciting announcement.
