Recently, I upgraded most of the sites I manage to WordPress 2.7, since it was just released a couple of days ago. So far it’s working quite well in production mode, as I was testing the beta for sometime on my development server. I have to say I really like the new UI better than before and the one click updates are nice as well.

I recently upgraded to WP 2.6, but keep forgetting when I upgrade that I need to back up the themes folder, since my FTP program always replaces it with the newest one. I did not do it this time, and my theme was deleted, so I had to rewrite my theme, since use a custom template that I designed. So if you see any errors, please excuse them while I get my theme back into working order.
I was happy to hear that helpful web resource called WebMonkey ? was redesigned and relaunched today. I used the site when it first launched in 1996 and all during the 90s too. Something I found interesting about the new site is now their entire code and content library is now hosted on a wiki. Which now means every tutorial, reference page and code example is open for editing.
