Busy Week and an Update Finally!

My week started off so busy! Not only busy with work, but other things too. Well Monday, T.. got a new car so I was busy all day with that and then Tuesday I took off from work to help to get the “loose ends” and errands all done with the new car, plus we also went to our favorite place to go get coffee and to the mall to walk around. I was happy to know that Hollister is now open at the mall and looks like CostCo is nearing completion as well too.

Since T getting the car we’ve been taking day-evening trips from visiting family and friends to going to Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area. It was nice drive up to the mountains, which is not too far from us, but still nice to roll the windows down and open the sunroof to go driving in the country.

Anyhow… These trips has been a welcome since it’s nice to work all day and know there is something fun planned for in the evening.

Other than going out I’ve been playing games on the Wii, lately too. We rented WarioWare: Smooth Moves the other night and now I really want that game. It’s sooooo addicting.

Well besides all this fun, I’ve been working hard lately pushing out work before deadlines and writing up quotes and proposals.

Well that’s about it for my busy week and my weekend will be so fun too. T and I are going to a concert this weekend, going to see spidey 3 In Imax ( no tickets last sunday pfft so we preordered them heheheh.) and lots of Wii game playing and day trips scheduled for this weekend…

Well back to work for ohhh 6 more hours. TGIF Happy Weekend!

Looking For Mac Software?

I thought this would be a great post to show off the three favorite sites that I like going to learning about new Mac apps to try out. All three listed below are ones I use all the time to look for new software that I can use with my Mac.

[tags]Mac, OS X, Mac app[/tags]

I like iusethis.com the best since it’s great for allowing you to organize your applications and check if your apps are up-to-date too.

Getting Things Done

I have not read the book yet, but I’ve been trying to follow David Allen’s concept of GTD(Getting Things Done) online. I downloaded a great program for the Mac called iGTD. iGTD takes some concepts and ideas from the Getting Things Done methodology by allowing you to organize your life by contexts or projects. Plus you can add e-mail, web-pages, and files to this program, with one press of a buttom. It also works great with Growl, and Quicksilver.
