Time Flies By

Time flies by.. It’s already June 3.  So basically half the year has already gone. June is always a month that has some happy times as well as some sad times. What I can’t believe is this June marks 8 years since the passing of my parents. Hard to believe as it seems like only yesterday I was hearing the horrific news from the State Trooper as I lay in a hospital bed waiting to go to x-ray. I miss both of them every single day. I still find myself wanting to pickup the phone give them a call or go see them.

That Special Day When You Grow a Day Older

I am another year older today. I think I will celebrate this day by spending it quietly, no frills type of day. I don’t even want anything for my birthday as spending time with the ones who I hold near and dear will be the best birthday gift I could ever ask for. Though I may get my winter wish  granted as they are calling for snow a couple of times next week.
