I was hoping to see some a lot more snow this winter than the dusting we got in January. With the warm temps moving in lately, I thought spring was well on its way until last night. My wish for Snow has been answered. We woke up this morning to a bright white blanket of fluffy snow. What a perfect way to end Winter to get ready for Spring.

Apple  recently released Safari 4 Beta. I’ve just downloaded the new Safari beta the other day and really like it  so far. It has a lot of new features and UI changes from the old version too.

I did not like the location of the tabs in the new version, but have  found  a way to change it back to the old version via some hidden preferences in the new beta.  If you’re on Windows or Mac check out the new Safari Beta today.

Just the other day I upgraded to 2.7 of Wordpress as I mentioned in my last post. I’ve also recently upgraded some of my software packages too like Coda, AdobeCS4, and just updated my macs to the latest  update of OS X too. Just turned on my virtual windows machine and noticed it had a bunch of updates too. Wow, it’s been updates galore here lately with the software and Operating systems I use often.

Recently, I upgraded most of the sites I manage to Wordpress 2.7, since it was just released a couple of days ago. So far it’s working quite well in production mode, as I was testing the beta for sometime on my development server. I have to say I really like the new UI better than before and the one click updates are nice as well.

It has been a long week and started off sluggish, since I was sick on Sunday and most of Monday too. I finally got around to finishing and launching the 2nd portfolio design last night. I still have some more features that I want to add, but decided to release it anyway since I really disliked the last design. The new design is pretty clean, simple and based on a grid type of design too. I thought of using something simple and clean on the portfolio design, because I wanted something super easy for anyone to be able to access and use. Other than finishing up the portfolio design, I have not been doing a lot this week, but catching up on e-mail, since I have not felt that great either. Next week will be full force once again.
